FORMULASI LOTION EKSTRAK ETANOL HERBAL KEMANGI (Ocimum americanum L.) MENGGUNAKAN ASAM STEARAT SEBAGAI EMULGATOR

Abstrak

This study aims to find a lotion preparation with a formulation of ethanolic extract of basil leaves that is physically stable with variations in the concentration of 1%, 2% and 3% staric acid. The extract was made by percolation method with ethanol as solvent. Lotion preparations with several concentrations will be tested for storage at a temperature of 27 C for pH, centrifugation and viscosity tests. All tests were carried out in order to see the feasibility of the lotion.
