EVALUASI TINGKAT KEPATUHAN PASIEN PADA PENGGUNAAN OBAT TUBERKULOSIS DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BATEE KABUPATEN PIDIE

Background Tuberculosis (TB) is an important public health problem in the world. Data from the Batee Health Center Work Area in 2019 found 10 cases with 70% recovery percentage, 10% DO, 10% MDR, 10% died, and in 2020 there were 23 cases 47%, DO 17.4%, MDR 4, 3%, died 21.7%. As of May 31, 2021, 17 cases were found. This study aims to determine the evaluation of patient compliance with the use of tuberculosis drugs in the working area of the Batee Health Center, Pidie Regency. The type of research used is a quantitative analytic survey with a cross-sectional design. The population is all TB patients who seek treatment in the Batee Health Center Work Area, as many as 33 TB patients. The sampling technique used was total sampling. Data analysis was carried out by univariate and bivariate analysis. Chi square analysis on education obtained p-value = 0.000, chi square analysis on knowledge obtained p-value = 0.000, Chi square analysis on work obtained p-value = 0.000, chi square analysis on drug side effects obtained p-value value = 0.002. Chi square analysis on family support obtained p-value = 0.024. It is recommended to the puskesmas or health workers who manage the TB treatment program to be able to provide support to patients and families so that they always control their family members' medication adherence so that drug withdrawal and resistance do not occur. In addition, health workers provide health education related to information about TB disease and information about drug adherence.
