According to WHO data in 2013, the incidence of cancer increased from 12.7 million cases in 2008 to 14.1 million cases in 2012. Cancer is the second leading cause of death in the world by 13% after cardiovascular disease. It is estimated that in 2030 the incidence of cancer can reach 26 million people and 17 million of them will die from cancer. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of DRPs related to unwanted drug reactions that reduce hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin at Tgk Hospital. Chik Ditiro and his network. The research method is a prospective analytic cross-sectional study design. Results There was an effect of DRPs related to unwanted drug reactions in reducing hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin with a significant value (p<0.05), so that unwanted drug reactions had an effect on reducing hemoglobin levels, and occurred in 6 patients. There were no cases of DRPs related to choosing the wrong drug to reduce hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin. There were no cases of DRPs related to under-dose and over-dose of lowering hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin. There were no cases of DRPs related to inappropriate timing of drug administration to reduce hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin. There was an effect of DRPs related to drug interactions in reducing hemoglobin levels in cancer patients treated with doxorubicin with a significant value (p<0.05), so that drug interactions had an effect on reducing hemoglobin levels, and occurred in 7 cancer patients. Suggestions for health workers to give patients the drug epoetin or perform blood transfusions related to the problem of decreasing hemoglobin levels which in turn can improve the image of Tgk Hospital.
