Abstrak

Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia No. 35 of 2014 concerning Standards for Clinical Services in Pharmacies, Pharmacists have the task of providing clinical pharmacy services. Patients with diabetes mellitus meet the criteria to get clinical pharmacy services by pharmacists in pharmacies. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of clinical pharmacy services which include the provision of drug information and counseling. This research was conducted using a survey method and patient simulation of 53 selected pharmacies in Mutiara District with the research target of pharmacists and pharmacists (non-pharmacist). The research tools are scenarios, checklist sheets and prescriptions written by doctors. The data of this study came from the checklist sheet that was filled out after visiting the selected pharmacy. The results showed that the average percentage of pharmacist attendance at Mutiara District pharmacies was 74.66% (medium). Clinical pharmacy services in pharmacies have not been carried out entirely by pharmacists, the results show that clinical pharmacy service providers at the Mutiara Subdistrict Pharmacy, Pidie District 50% are carried out by pharmacists, 45% are carried out by pharmacists and 5% are carried out by pharmacists and pharmacists simultaneously. During clinical pharmacy services at pharmacies, 60% of dispensing activities in the form of drug delivery are carried out according to prescriptions.
